This bed and breakfast was fantastic! The house was adorable and very well kept. It is located very close (about a block) to the boardwalk and ocean. The view from our room was a breathtaking view of the ocean. We will absolutely be staying her again!

This may be a fantastic place but I'll never know. Would have given zero stars if that was possible. Despite a room deposit and confirmation from them via mail, I received a call when 45 minutes away from arriving telling me that because of a "computer error" I had no room. They suggested 2 alternatives, neither of which was suitable after previously reading reviews of both. Wasted my time, wasted my gas. Very disappointed since we would have been celebrating our anniversary.

This place is probably the best experience I've had in years of going to Deleware beaches. Me and 2 girlfriends stayed in the little cottage in the back - it was the perfect size for the three of us for 3 nights. Matt and Jerry were perfect hosts - giving us beach chairs, towels etc. walkable to everything, close to the beach, good nights sleep. just can't rave enough. im going back ASAP!!!

Let me tell you, getting a last minute room at Rehoboth in August is like finding a needle in the haystack. It is almost impossible! After inquiring at about a dozen hotels, motels and B&B's, someone gave me a tip that there was a last minute cancellation at the Lighthouse Inn. The reviews on Yelp/Trip Advisor seemed good enough so I went ahead and booked right away. I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before so much of my drive to the beach included googling "What to Expect at a Bed and Breakfast." Here are my thoughts on my stay: + The hosts Matt and Jerry could not be more friendly and accommodating (without being overbearing). I was a little bit hesitant about staying in someone's house but I barely interacted with the other guests or the hosts...unless they were needed. + The inn is a super cute, three floor Cape Cod with lots of beachy amenities and decorations. + They have free parking in the back of the house and you are welcome to use their beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. + The beach is less than 500 feet from the house! How's that for convenience? + The use one ply toilet paper, boo! My toosh deserves better, especially for $250 a night. + Someone tidied up our room and randomly rolled up our half empty tube of toothpaste which made me laugh. I am pretty sure whoever did that thought we were uncivilized monsters squeezing from the middle of the tube (Not a complaint, just a funny observation). + The continental breakfast on Saturday was pretty standard (yogurt, bread, etc) but their Sunday hot breakfast included a scrumptious crab omelette, hash browns (freezer), biscuit, and asparagus. * The room was not super luxurious but it was not terrible either. The first night I had trouble sleeping but the second night I slept like a baby. *They have basic cables, HBO, and a whole lot of VHS tapes from the 90's you can go through (Flubber anyone?!) *They were so gracious the day we left. They allowed us to park in their lot and use their outdoor shower so we could still spend some more time at the beach which was so nice! Overall B&B's are really not my thing but Matt and Jerry made our stay so pleasant and enjoyable, I'd definitely go back!

I stayed twice at the Lighthouse Inn this summer, and both visits were five-star. My second stay was in the cottage -- great value for the price and so convenient to have a separate bedroom and a full kitchen. Traditionally, I'm not a fan of bed and breakfasts, because I prefer the anonymity and privacy of a hotel. But Matt and Jerry were so welcoming that it felt more like I was visiting old friends. The location is excellent (close to the beach and restaurants), the rooms are clean, beautiful, and well-furnished, and the continental breakfast (not included with the cottage, of course) is thoughtfully-prepared with good coffee and plenty of yummy choices. Love Matt and Jerry!

We stayed for three nights in August and could not be happier. Matt and Jerry thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Location is fantastic -short walk to the beach, restaurants etc.. We will definitely go back.
